Hello friends! I have had such an eventful week, and I thought who better to share it with than with all of y'all! In the past week I have been in four plus cities and two different countries if you include the weird train route I had to take to get to my friends farm! Sorry not sorry if this post is mostly photos because I have so many of them!
I only spent a couple of days in Bath this week, but they were full of fun! Besides having class and studying I also went to a tea house and ate scones, visited Prior Park with some South American friends Ine and Facundo and drank Mate, and went to Karaoke night with some mates (see how I threw in some British slang!!!) Then, very last minute (as in twelve hours of warning) some of us decided to go to Oxford! Oxford was so pretty, the University was so nice (even though the whole fellows and colleges thing still confuses me) and I got to see the college that Tolkien went to and the dining hall that inspired the Hogwarts dining hall!
The next day I got to visit my friend Lillian at her farm near Shrewsbury! Being on the farm was one of the coolest things I have gotten to do since coming to the UK, not only because I got to catch up with one of my camp friends but also because playing with baby lambs on a farm is an experience that I couldn't get anywhere else! I met her pony Frosty, helped feed some lambs, and went to a legitimate English Pub! Not to mention that I got to wear red wellies and overalls! And finally I met up with some familiar faces in Manchester, Isabel and Matt! Matt was a wonderful host and showed us castles, tea houses, the big city, and even bought us Chinese food!
