I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE! The last two weeks have been amazing, both in Bath and on my Scotland Adventure! School is starting to pick up as projects, tests, and essays are popping up. Because of that, We've been trying to do more local things so we still have time to study. The girls that I eat Tuesday dinner with and I went to this lovely cafe in Bath that has the self-proclaimed best Hot Chocolate and Bread Pudding in Bath, and I believe that claim! We also broke down into our North American ways and ended up splurging on pizza, but it was totally worth it! I also went to Alexandra Park with some Bath People to check out the view! It is at the top of a hill, but once you make it up there you get a view of the Bath Skyline! We were really lucky in that we picked a sunny day that gave us a beautiful view and a pleasant walk! Some of the other cool things that I have done in Bath over the last week or so is go to the Little Theater Cinema and finally eat Indian food here in Bath! Other than that we have mostly just been chilling in Bath, trying to get all of our work done before Easter Break!
However, I haven't just been in Bath... I also got to visit some of my camp friends in Glasgow, Scotland! It was a scenic but LONG train ride from Bath to Glasgow, but seeing all of my Scottish friends was amazing! Kellie and Paul were nice enough to take me to George Square in city center as well as Loch Lomond, which was a bit of a drive! But Loch Lomond was amazing; we hiked along the beach, skipped rocks, and I even managed to talk Kellie into walking into the water with me (which was freezing!!!!). We then met up with Gillian and went to an all-you-can-eat buffet that had a chocolate fountain, which I don't know if it's only the ones I know but the Scots sure do seem to love chocolate. The next day Gillian gave me a tour of the city, took me shopping, took me to the best Ice Cream store in Glasgow (not self-proclaimed but from an actual vote), and then showed me around the local park. The park was massive with a dog park, a waterfall and a pond! Later we were able to meet up with Angela, another camp person, and the rest of the gang to catch up! Seeing camp people is always fun, and it was even cooler this time because we were in SCOTLAND!!!!!
