As you know, Carolyn was here last week and we traveled a lot! She spent a couple days in Bath where we drank tea, saw the Royal Crescent, shopped in the local market, saw the Roman Baths, and Carolyn got to see Stonehenge (while I was stuck in class blah!) Then on Wednesday we traveled to Cardiff, Wales so Carolyn could see the BBC Doctor Who Experience. It was everything that a true Whovian could want, aka Carolyn. We spent a couple hours there flying the Tardis and seeing props from the show, but we also got to see some of the other sites such as Cardiff Bay, the Wales Millennium Centre, and the Pierhead Building. After that we headed to Bristol, the closest city to Bath that has an airport, and chilled there for a day. We went shopping, saw a movie at the cinema, and saw some Banksy graffiti.
However, while those events were awesome the big event happened over the weekend... St. Patty's in Dublin! We were suppose to get there Friday morning, but due to the poor planning skills of Aer Lingus and foggy weather at the airport we didn't make it till that night. It was annoying, but our day in Dublin was still fun! We met up with some of my camp friends, Liam, Hannah Mae and Sam (who lives in Dublin so holla for having a tour guide), and enjoyed the festival. We saw the Dublin Castle, the market, Trinity College, a free concert (the band was Ireland's only New Orleans themed band haha), and a couple of Irish pubs. St. Patrick's day in Ireland was so fun and seeing my camp friends was really nice!
