My Easter Break was AMAZING!!!!!! 6 countries in 2 weeks, sounds crazy right? It was, but it was also an amazing experience! I spent the first 3 days in Paris with Isabel and her Mom (free place to stay HOLLA) in this cute apartment with a view of the street below! Isabel met me at the train station, which was a blessing seeing as I spent 20 minutes lost in the station trying to find her, and we got a bit of a feel for the neighborhood. We then went thrifting in Paris! We found a couple of hip and cheap charity shops that one of Isabel's friends told her about and spent the afternoon shopping and eating crepes! Then for dinner we grabbed a couple of baguettes and cheese and chilled at the apartment!
The next day was Easter, so we decided to brave the crowd and head to Notre-Dame for Easter Mass. We managed to find seats, but due to our inability to speak French didn't catch much of the service or songs. After that we jumped on the metro and went to the Eiffel Tower! It was a sunny day so laying in the park by it was amazing, and we also took some pretty great photos. We then walked around the city for a couple of hours and ended up at the wildest fondue place ever! It's been around for ever (or at least since 1981 when my Dad was in Paris and happened to eat at this same place) and is famous for making guests jump over their tables to get to their seats and serving wine in baby bottles. Isabel's Mom was a bit unsure about the whole experience but Isabel and I had a blast and ate so much cheese! The next day we only had the morning because we had to catch a coach to Vienna, but we got to see the outside of the Louvre, where a bird stole break out of the baguette in my hand, as well as the Bridge of Love Locks! Paris was so pretty and I can't wait to go back with my parents!
